About

The United Way of Toombs-Montgomery-Wheeler Counties is an independent, non-profit organization, governed by a local board of directors, that provides year-round financial support for twenty six local human-service member agencies.

Since 1988, the United Way idea of community based fund-raising has helped give hope to local young people looking for leadership to make the right choices; to teens working their way back from wrong choices; to those with mental and physical disabilities who want the opportunity to be productive citizens; to the elderly who want to remain active and independent and to those from all walks of life faced with catastrophic difficulties.
