2026 Campaign

United Way of Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties kicked off the 2026 fundraising campaign on September 25, with a goal of $510,000. This year's campaign theme was "Can We Build Hope? Yes We Can!". Campaign Chair Michael Lane and Campaign Co-Chair Amanda Higgins led a seven-week effort that surpassed expectations, raising $525,146.43 to support neighbors in need across all three counties. Campaign team members collaborated closely with their committees to maximize community impact, showcasing how our region unites to lift up neighbors in need. This year’s campaign was supported by a generous lineup of sponsors, including Dot Foods, Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, Paul Thigpen Automotive Group, Peoples Bank, Plant Hatch, Tar Land & Timber, Altamaha Bank, Altamaha EMC, Cintas, EZ-E Photography (Evan Riekhof), STC, Tumi, Ameris Bank, Community Hospice, Georgia Power, McLain Calhoun McCullough Clark & Co, Oxford, Radio Jones LLC, The Temples Company, Towns Funeral Home, Trane, Phillips Pharmacy, Sweet City Landscapes, The Advance, Vidalia Kiwanis Club, and Vidalia Rotary Club.
